5 Engaging Fall Math Centers

It’s that time of the year. We’re roasting chestnuts over our whiteboard fire and sipping on all the cold apple cider. It’s also time to bust out all the fall themed fun to get our kiddos practicing some crucial skills. In this post you’ll learn about 5 of my favorite math centers! Fall Write the Room

Who doesn’t love a good write the room activity? Get students up and moving around the room with this fun activity. They’ll love hunting around trying to find the different fall themed counting and addition equations. This activity is differentiated with numbers and equations within 5 and 10 to support your little learners and all their math needs.

Fall Number Sense Pumpkins

Help students practice number sense with this jam packed hands on resource that students will have a blast with. Between sequencing number puzzles to number clip cards, they will have so much fun learning! These engaging center activities are differentiated for numbers 0-10 and 10-20.

Number Sequencing Activities 

Roll and Cover

‘Tis the season for some good competition and this game gives just that! Students will practice number sense and addition by rolling and covering or bumping their partners and stealing their nuts to try and win! It’s a-corny good time! This game can be played for as many rounds as time allows and it’s so much fun they don’t even know how much they’re mastering!

Roll and Cover for Number Sense and Addition

Leaf 10 Frames

Students will practice numbers and adding in ten frames! It’s a differentiated, concrete way for students to practice important number sense skills in adorable fall themed frames. Turn on a crackling fire and let your students relax while having fun during this engaging math center. You’ll be sighing big breaths of reLEAF after your students get this skill down!
