I decided to forget the winter blues and really ICE things up with these engaging, hands on, winter themed math activities! In this post, you’ll find FIVE exciting math activities to help your students practice important skills that you can use during small group instruction, centers, or as independent practice. No matter how you use it, your students are sure to have FUN while learning.

Do You Want to Build a Snowman?
Let’s be honest… Does anyone ever say no to this question? Your students will LOVE building place value snowmen while practicing representing numbers through 120 in multiple ways. Easily differentiate this activity for students by limiting the amount of snowmen pieces for students or choosing the numbers they work within. Want to create no problem.
