Sweetheart Sight Words

This activity let’s our little learners build the sweetest little words that you could just eat up (no, seriously, who doesn’t love those conversation hearts?!). Before the sugar rush, help students master those important high frequency words with this fun building game! Committing those sight words, heart words, or other “non-decodable” words to memory are crucial for students while reading. Mastering these can really help with fluency, prosody and overall comprehension. 

With this activity, students will LOVE practicing spelling, reading, and mastering all kinds of important words with these lovely hearts. Kids will grab a heart box,, read the word, and get to constructing their hearts to correctly spell the word.
